PUI Provence

Provence University Innovation Hub

The PUI Provence, or Provence University Innovation Hub, is a France 2030 project funded by the French National Research Agency (ANR) and Bpifrance. It aims, on one hand, to increase awareness and engagement with innovation among students and research staff through new training pathways, and on the other hand, to strengthen business development efforts toward companies in order to boost collaboration contracts, research agreements, technological platform revenues, and the creation of Deeptech startups.

A project led by its founding members:

PUI Provence Objectives: 
  • Enhance the effectiveness of innovation support activities (collaborative research, technology transfer, entrepreneurship) across the site
  • Accelerate the flow of innovation projects emerging from research laboratories and improve their conversion rate into innovation, notably through the creation of Deeptech startups

Its Core Missions:
  • Accelerating and strengthening the site’s research valorization potential
  • Coordinating ecosystem stakeholders
  • Rolling out an action plan aimed at both improving the effectiveness and efficiency of current initiatives and maximizing the site’s innovation potential
